Judging from my highly unofficial points estimations, Wild Card leaves St. Petersburg with a 40 points lead over the remaining OSSVL teams in the OSS national points totals. Behind Will & Larry, it will be a virtual dead heat between the remaining OSSVL teams, with all having the same points total (+/- a point or two.) OSSVL will be an exciting place, all the way to Key West.

Dave: They had a wet t-shirt contest over at the Team IMCO truck, with a clear and very well deserved winner.
IMCO might be a bit sedate on occasion, but they sure have the hottest females.

That was one great race for us in SVL. Lot of position changeing the whole race. We are all so equal in speed it was great. All 4 boat finished with in 1.5 min. of each other. Max speeds were about 85-88 mph. Thanks for the extra purse money on the spot as well. The top 3 teams actualy made money or broke even to go racing!!!!!!

Erick and I with Team IMCO also want to say what a great time we had. The race was great as was the overall event. Todd Werner did an outstanding job with this event, especially considering all the hurdles we had to jump through. I too was disappointed not to see the OSS Cat's run but safety must come first.
Wil, how are we gonna catch you???
Ok new OSS rule for Wild Card...
Wil Ros must:
1. Run a 6-blade Herring with 4 blades removed. Your choice as to which four.
2. Run 87 octane fuel with 5 gals of 2 cycle oil added.
3. Must remove one trim tab, again your choice.
4. No drive oil shall be allowed.
5. Larry is NOT allowed in the boat...
I have discussed this with the OSS Board and it has been approved.
Looking forward to St. Clair and OH, did I mention that Erick just bought us a new Keith Eickert Super Charged 900... Now we'll see...

Ben, I've seen the Krazy Kubans race without a drive. It might take more radical measures to slow them down. Now no Larry in the boat: That hurts.
