I have 2 boats ready to go. All they need is a motor in each and a team to run them. Has APBA and SBI agreed on the same rules?

T. Auto, do you have a boat that you will be racing? And the post then should be which sanctioning body will you race your F1 boat in? If the rules are not the same then its imposable to race in both and be competitive or even legal in both.

The LaveyCraft F1-11 boat will be back with new members. Kevin Cooper & David Rehm will debut a new LaveyCraft SVL, and myself, Brain Devlin (throttle) & Chance Silva (Driver) are re-riging the boat to conform to the new (APBA/POPRA) rules. The new power has been ordered and we hope to make the first APBA race in North Carolina at the end of April.
We are hoping that SBI & APBA will run the same rule book, our goal is to race as many races as possible - no matter who is sponsoring the race. However our boat will be setup to meet the current APBA rules so that we can compete in Pacific Offshore races which are here in our back yard.

You could be legal in both in you stick to the APBA rules, but you probably won't be competitive at an SBI event. Makes packing up the gear and driving cross country no so attractive.
