Homologation list is still on the APBA website. Doesn't include Bad Boyz, Venom, Dragon. Perhaps it is no longer required. But wouldn't that lead to the possiblility of someone producing one of a kind boats that had a distinct competitive edge? Maybe the list just hasn't been updated.

Super Vee racing is not Factory racing. I think most are one of a kind boats. They make them competitive by adding weight to the faster hulls.

There is a list of homologated boats for every class.

The rule book we reviewed in Atlanta still has Homologation rules with provisions for new manufactures and new models. The way it was written it looked like the old APBA rules watered down a bit..............Hopefully the "Official" rule book will be out soon.

Bad Boy Powerboats have raced with SBI for the past few years in P class as well as OPA so Tony could perfect his design before he sells it or advertises it. He believes in having his designs perfected before spending money on advertising like many manufacturers do. The 38 Super V is approved and will be running with OSS for 2005. WATCH OUT OFFSHORE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe the Bad Boys Boat will only be running with OSS. Jay Muller and Wil Ros will be running this boat together, while also running their boats in SC and SVL, respectively. This will be a huge undertaking for them both. Good luck to them and their teams.

The Bad Boy is most likely going to make its first racing debut in Biloxi. Who knows maybe the second Bad Boy will be there as well and if not it will be on the circuit a short time after.
