Talking Re: keeping it off the rocks

The boat over heated and we were being towed in by a 40 some foot cigarete that say mercury racing on it some big poker run boat.we were about 150 yards from the ramp and this jack ass did not know how to run his boat got scarred of the 3 to 5 foot waves and threw the rope back we could not get the boat started so we drifted to the rocks and a bunch of people caught the boat . The sarasota cop boat had to put in and tow use to the ramp.. PS sorry about the cell phones

Cory,

Sorry to hear about your testing debacle. Just hope everyone is OK and no severe damage was done to the boat. You guys have any pics???

Hum, did it over heat while making left hand turns? Common problem, easy fix.

Terrible situation to be in Cory, it happened to me last year going out the inlet in the Miami race when I lost power and was lucky that a Coast Guard cutter got us away from the rocks. See you guys in Miami and good luck with the small gremlin.

Cory,

I hate to hear you're having problems with the new boat. I only wish the best for you that you get things right and run the new boat as well as you did the last.

BTW...Scott and I had the Challenger out on Lake Lanier about a week and a half ago. Man...you guys set that boat up well! The water was about a foot chop and according to my prop calculations, we couldn't have hit better speeds. We're only hoping we can run the boat as well as you guys did.

Hope to see ya at the races soon.

Sean
