Default GLOC Boat inspection

I am planning to be at Grand Slam on my Sea Ray. I was reading the GLOC rules and it stated that you must have an inspection from the lake authority. Were the heck do I get that?

You don't HAVE to have the inspection but if you want it you can contact the lake patrol when you see them and ask for the safety inspection. Most of us, even full timers don't get the inspection unless they happen to be at a gas dock or something then we will get the stickers.

Thanks, just reading the rules and did not want one of those stupid tickets that ruin your weekend...

From experience they might pull you over to do the safety inspection, fire extinguisers, life jackets, bailing device, etc then they slap a sticker on your boat. Very rare they do it but you never know.

GRDA is pretty laid back. Unless you are running 100+ within 10 feet of a bass boat.

You'll have no problems.
