If you stay on that road and go past Bernice you come to hwy 85. You go south and you pass the road that goes to Cherokee, Ugly's and Arrowhead. When you come to Ketchum there is a road on the west side of town that turns south that takes you too both marinas. Both ramps are very well protected.
The problem with the one at the state park is that you are in the wide open. Are you staying the night anywhere?
Cherokee may also have a ramp to use for poker run participants.

I used the Ketchum Landing ramp when I put in for Cherokee. They do not have a ramp at Cherokee that I know of. Gary (Marina Manager) from Cherokee suggested that ramp.
