Is this the same poker run that was scheduled for August 12th and is listed on Ugly John's website? If so, that's advantageous for me. I'm trying to get my boat purchased before the event, and I've been rushing everything to make it happen. Does this mean I can ease up a little?

No its a completely different run. Grand Slam is hosted at Cherokee Yacht Club. The one on the 12 of August is hosted at Ugly John's Thunder Bay.
