Re: Jayhawk261
I took the drive lock key down this morning and watched while he pulled the drive. He had already drained the drive oil and said it looked good. he had the cable in hand. Hopefully he is done now. We're planning on picking her up on Saturday and running her a bit.

I just called them. He is finishing it up. It was the cable jacket. I guess it was binding up somehow when pusing it forward. Apparently it is good now.
He did say that I need to do a few maintenance items this winter that are a result of it being a salt water boat for the first few years of its life. They are going to go over that with me when I pick her up. He didn;t sound like it would be anything major though. Hopefully!

Re: Jayhawk261
They got the cable replaced last week. The wife and I went down Saturday to run around on the lake. They put her on a lift on A dock. We started to clean it up and I found a big gouge in the gel coat. It happened when the mechanic was putting it on the service lift. My boat is narro, so it tilted one way and then the other before he got it centered on the lift. So, she is spending this week at CYC again so they can repair the gel. At least this one is on their dime!
We were able to hit 72.0 on the gps at about 4950 rpm on Saturday. I thought that was pretty good! Then we ate at Island Joes over at Shangri la. That was pretty gross I don't think we'll go there again!
Any updates on selling the boat? Did the guy find a trailer?

No luck on finding a used trailer. I have recieved several calls on it so we will see if anything pans out.
That sucks about the gel. At least they are fixing it for you.
