I am pretty sure they will have the Duck Creek inlet as a controlled area like last year. So all the boats will be able to run through for photo ops for patrons. That is a REALLY good idea. Thats the only place really I can think of where it would get too nasty to have fun. All other places should be fine unless it is real windy that day around Shangri La. Then you may have to take it easy a bit through that area.

Jason,

I had my 26 up there last weekend, and I wont lie to ya, it's pretty damn rough. On holiday weekends, you can just about forget it, unless you REALLY want to be hurtin.

Up north the water is a little better. Between Shangri La and the Damn, you have to be VERY careful of the cruisers. My boat has a LOT of carburetion, and the cruisers will sometimes flood me out if I get too naughty.

Just get there early, stay in drip or woodard until 7, and you will be fine!!

Just pack more air!

Jason, I've got a 26' and I'm on Grand every chance I get. It gets rough, but its a blasts when you get on top of the chop! Just pay attention to the swells from the big guys and you'll be fine! Hope to see ya on the water!
