I mainly boat on Lake St.Clair where I rack my boat. I do go down to Put-In-Bay/ Lake Erie about twice a year. Is there any thing worth seeing or going to during normal weekends in the summer on the south end of the Detroit River? Crystal Bay? Bois Blanc ( Bob a Lo) for restaurants/bars etc.?

White sands at bob lo is a good spot as well as cross dikes (next to sugar island), Hot hole is still a great spot as well as dinner at portofinos, bob's boat house is supposed to be putting in boat wells for the summer, and duffy's in amherstburg is good as well. Probably the best is Cross dikes on saturday or white sands, but have to call in and have passports now for the canada stop at white sands so might be a pain this year if going to a canadian port. Let us know if you are coming down this year and we can tie up.

Thanks, sounds good, Its always nice to find some new areas relatively close to home and people that know the ins and outs of those spots. By the way Congrats on the new boat, I have read your posts in the Powerquest section. Also be assured if we hook up I am a anal boater in regards to tieing up and anchoring, with 2 anchors and (6) 10.5x 30 fenders with covers.

For sure, I am getting the whole family cards. I talked in length with the US customs rep at the boat show and he strongly suggested the Nexxus card as well. Hopefully the customs guys are cool this summer.

The motor city poker run last year was a nice event which included a dvd, it was a good time, even with the T strom that came thru in the middle of the run

I am told that that event probably wont happen this year

I am surprised that there are so few runs here in the Michigan area

Fun Run

I'm very interested and have access to marina slips &/or sea wall dockage for a stop-over/BBQ...or overnight stay over...

BTW...we'd also have access to clubhouse / gas dock and possibly downtown/bar/club shuttle service...

Let me know your thoughts...
