Michigan poker run season??
Trying to plan a poker run season. What runs are in Michigan? I know of the Boyne Thunder and will run it again.

Motor City Poker Run, Last year it was at the end of May - same time as the redbull air races. I was hoping to go but had to fly out of town that weekend. Rather inexpensive at $175 per boat covering two people. I know there's got to be more, or should we start our own

That would be cool. I think there are two on St. Clair that are on Wednesdays. As well as some others on Saturdays.

Got trailer will travel........I've had the same discussion with some fellow boaters, weather we call it a poker run or fun run is irellevant. Just getting a large group together for a fun filled day is always good on the water.

What about the algonac and St. Clair races? As for the jobbie nooner and raft off been there done that. Yes it's a must do if you've never been there but......If you enjoy seeing a bunch of drunk punks/teenie boppppers then it becomes a return thing. I guess the boobbbbies will make you a return guest. By the way the raft off is every weekend.

Lets do a spring fun run, since I see nothing planned any where. I propose that all that would like to be the first in the water this year get together and have a fun run. I'll start with suggesting a Port Huron start and weather permitting we run north to lexington and/or Port Sanilac, other wise we head south to where ever. Anyway you look at it we get a bunch of boats together and wake up the locals.
