Business 94 Benton Harbor to the ramp

They started ripping up Bus 94 today. Plan is taking 5 lanes down to 3 lanes. To allow traffic to slow down and enjoy BH. Stop lights also coming out and 3 round-abouts are going in. Ya, good idea for semi traffic, boats, and confused drivers. 12 million for two miles, your tax dollars at work!

What parts are they tearing up? Are they tearing up downtown?

Started at bridge and headed east 1 mile for 1st phase, will take all summer. 1st round about will be at Main & Riverview.

Apparently at public meeting engineers explained how a 3 lane road can "flow" just as much traffic as the current 5 lane. Huh?

There has been a round about on the other end of Riverview at Pier 1000 entrance. The city put up stop signs at each entrance to round about because accidents.
