How do I load pictures? Never done that before.
Good time yesterday, lots of big iron.
Lots of OPP and RCMP out but they were mostly doing safty inspections (which is good) Ran from Dover to the Point at 11am in 1-2 ft seas. Returned at 4pm in 4-5 ft with the odd 6ft hole! Great ramp at Port Dover.

I did Dover too!

I left about 7am when all was quiet...except my thru-hull exhaust
It was flat as a pancake then but I know what you mean about the rough in the late afternoon. I came back at about 3:30 and hit the same crap you did. Not a fun ride at all as it was short and rough!
I found the ramps to be full of weeds and not very friendly. The parking Nazi was there in a heartbeat to capture my fifteen dollar tax for loading, but there was no one there to assist me when I came back. All four of them were sitting on their asses looking at me trying to manouver in the heavy wind!
Bumped the dock a bit, but no damage to the boat.

I figure about 6-7 thousand boats possibly? What's your estimate?

I don't know, they always say the piss up is 5000 boats and 50,000 people but I think 2000 boats and 25000 people are closer to it. But then again it was what, about say 3 miles of beach 2 to 3 rows of boats rafted up. Each boat say 8ft wide, please somebody do the math, I so confused! I gotta ask when you went over at 7am were there people setting up already?
We'll be back next year, maybe not that early, but we'll be back.
You run the upper river out of Chippawa?

This was the mildest year I have seen in a long time. And the least amount of cops in years !! They were not even giving out the BS tickets on saturday like they normally do before the big day. And yes from my boat the sight's were great !!!!!!!!

I used to. I lived right across the street from the creek. I used to own a Stinger 210 and spent lots of time there as well as my Larson and Thundercraft before that.
Since I[ve gone twins I have been an open lake lover! I do take the Stinger 260 up to Chippawa occasionally to take a run over to the Erie Canal in Tonnawanda for the live concerts on Wed and Fri evenings once in a while, but I spend most of my time in Lake Ontario around the lower Niagara River and Port Dalhousie.
