I'm with Pete I wouldn't waste my time to go there the cops just want to write tickets and that event just gives them the opportunity. Not something I'll attend again..
I'm originally from that area as well...I'd spend my money going to Torch, Muscamoot or Put in Bay

Yeah, I plan to anchor away from the party and walk up, same way I do Jobbie... How shallow is the lake, am I going to be busting up props if I take a cruise around? My boat isn't the biggest or most expensive, but it's mint, and I try to keep it that way.

The middle of the lake is really deep... Like 75'+... Near the shore out there isn't bad, it's still like 4'. It is a lot like finding a spot to anchor in Muskamoot Bay - if you watch your depth gauge and trim your drives up you'll be fine.
We generally anchor to the left of Limber Lost as you sit in the water and look at the bar and walk over to the party as well. I do the same for JN, as I don't like being "stuck" in the middle of a bunch of filth. It's nice to have a safe haven away from the chaos, and as easy way to leave whenever you'd like.
