We run west bay alot. Have a 35' Fountain, soon to be 37 OL. Usually run to Sutton's Bay for lunch and then head to Bowers Harbor or down to the beach by the city to toss the hook and hang out. Stay at Clinch occasionally. Stop by sometime if you see us!

I spend a lot of time in the area, this summer not as much as usual though. We love to stay at Clinch a few times over the summer and run the bay, also Torch, Elk etc. I will keep an eye out for you next year.

Any of you Traverse City guys recognize this boat?

[IMG][/IMG]

It came from that area back in 2008 and belonged to a guy by the name of Mark Zinn (I bought the boat from him) that is a part time resident there. Just thought someone might have seen it around and know some of the history.

Thanks

Just spent three days there. Great marina, tried to buy gas in marina next to it. Could not find anyone to pump my gas. Had a great time, but I named it Elmwood Township Cemtery, the place was dead, it was the middle of the week and we talked to less then 10 people in 3 days. Everything you need there, party store across the street, Family Video and a hand full of restaurants.

Nice boat.
I live in the area, I have only been out on west bay one time this year so far, been launching from Elk Rapids quit a bit this year, also several runs on Elk Lake and Torch.

I'm in Elmwood. Yes, it is very quiet and seems a lot of boats never leave their docks. There is a phonebox at the gas dock in Harbor West. If the attendant isn't there a sign instructs you to call and he usually gets there in a few minutes.
Did you see the 42 staggered white Fountain by the gas dock ?
