Default Torch Lake Area Campground w/ Dock

A friend wants to vacation next year on the Elk Lake / Torch Lake chain, and he wants to find a campground where he can both set up his tent and dock his boat.

Anyone know of such an place in that area?

Thanks

Whitewater park on Elk Lake would be your only option. You'd have to anchor your boat as there aren't any docks except for the launch.

Thanks for the input. We have driven through Whitewater Twp campground scoping it out for a relative with a fifth wheel and I will suggest it to my friend.

If nothing else, at 21' his boat is easy to launch/recovery so he could haul out each night and not worry about dropping a hook.

Cheers!

Exactly what I do. Pull it out and park it!

Depending on what time of year you are talking about going, holidays, there I suggest checking on what the resevation process is at Whitewater Twp camp site. I've been to Torch Lake for twelve years now and that is the closest place you will find with what you have described.
