Chicago Trip March 18-22
I am going to be in Chicago for some work training from March 18-22. Anything cool going on in the city? Things I should make sure to check out? We are in classes 8-6 but I wanna see the city for sure. I will be staying at the Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel at 8500 W Bryn Mawr Ave.
Thanks Guys!

Will you have access to a car? Because you will be pretty far out from the Loop... You can take the train from O'hare into the city, but I don't know how late it runs.
There's ALWAYS something going on in the city...if you've never been there, hit up Navy Pier (the biggest tourist attraction in Chicago)...plenty of museums, theaters, concerts, bars, etc. Go up the Sears (now Willis) Tower or the John Hancock...you can have drinks at a bar on the 95th floor of the latter, then go down one level and go ice skating!
Can't go to wrong with food...there are soooo many good restaurants. Cafe Bionda on the south side is a bad influence favorite (http://www.stylechicago.com/favorite...FZE-MgodmS8Axw), and further north, one of my personal favorites is Chicago Oven and Grinder Company on Clark St.
Just bring lots of $$. Lol.

Best Pizza in Chicago!!
I always make it a point to visit when in town. Skip the Navy Pier kiosk location though as the pizzas are not made fresh there; just trucked in from another full restaurant. The location on Archer is probably the best one.

I do eat their pizza, mainly because every Monday night is 10 dollar pizza night, and im saving for gas money for the boat lol
But I wouldn't say its the best, or anywhere close.
If youre staying by the airport, keep in mind the drive into downtown flat out sucks on I-90/94, pretty much any time of the day. Typical drive times from downtown to the airport are 45-60 minutes. Its only a 15 mile drive. Only decent time to shoot downtown is between 10am, and head back around 2pm. Or, after about 7pm.
Heres a place not far from where you are staying that is pretty good. Theres also a few watering holes in that neighborhood, and pretty safe area.

The new rivers casino is nearby the airport, haven't been there but heard its good.
These are real close to your hotel also.

If you come into the city, Café Bionda is tough to beat. The food is excellent. Its a small place, but very nice. If you go, you have to get the ''Nana's Gravy" trust me on this.
