Was thinking about trying to make it for Oktoberfest on October 12th. The wife and I enjoy the band "The Websters" and they pretty much only play the Roundhouse on the super busy weekends like X-Mas... Turns out they are playing Oct 12th. Are the public docks still open then? I know Lake Erie can be a bit mean late in the fall, so will have to play it by ear.....
We will be there that weekend for sure as well.

Likewise, and thank you! It was filthy, but I've been lazy hopefully we can get together and do some boating this fall or next season.

Saturday wasn't bad at all going over I ran over with the wife, kid and dog and my brother followed me in his 27 with his crew. there where some rollers but nothing bad at all, the worst for me was getting out of the Sandusky bay mouth after that it was good.

That's for sure, I saw that picture from last year when you headed over to Kelleys turning the Hurricane Sandy weekend, that was nasty looking.

When do we get to see the video.

Too windy to take a trip from Detroit to PIB across Erie in a 26 footer..... I have done it before. There were small craft warnings steady 4-6 footers with occasional swells of 9'+. The Velocity 260 held her own, but it isn't something I would like to do again.... We were a bt damp upon arrival... We talked to some friends that took the Jet Express from Ford Yacht Club (the same day we went) and they told me, that people were falling over due to the angle at which the Jet Express was leaning out in Erie.....

that's awesome. Looked like you hit a big one right at the end of the video. Looked like the boat handled it pretty good.
