tonight's episode of top gear is where the buffalo poker run is held. for everyone who has not come. you can see how nice the accommodations are!!

That was the best Top Gear yet.

Can't believe they made the crossing in that,,, thing... I did that same run for Canada Day 2012 and had to abort the first attempt due to the conditions 5 miles out. So Kudo's to Rutledge, though I doubt he actually built his own anphib.. Just floating on a car in 250' water is heck of a lot more than I would do. Was scary enough in a boat when it plugged a fuel filter at 10 miles out..

I'll make it up for the run next year, is a great area for boating.

Just watched the episode on YouTube... it was hilarious!

I agree that crossing in such a small craft is a bit scary. My 39 crosses without issue but that thing with the VW front end could have taken on water in a slight chop. They were lucky the lake was not angry that day and it was calm as could be.
It's too bad the Jeep sank. I thought it was the one that would make it?
