+1 on the weekdays, it's been a long time since we went up on a week day where nothing was planned on the island. It's so laid back, calm and quiet, not to mention you have the docks to yourself. I'm working on getting on a 4 10 shift that would give me Sunday Monday Tuesday off, that would be a nice stretch up at Erie.[/QUOTE]
I worked 4 10's for about 3 years and loved it. Always a three day weekend. Sometimes we did Mon to thurs and tues to fri the following week for a four day weekend. When we went back to five days a week I felt like i was working weekends.

We bailed on PIB for the second time. Called B dock at 530 pm and they told me that they had maybe 2 spots left for a 38 footer so it wasn't the risk to get up there late then try to scramble for something else. Guess we could of done a mooring ball but oh well. We hung out with RT all weekend and got to see his 10 day old baby boy, it was very busy at buckeye a little to busy for my comfort. Thank god for friends helping me tie up at docks for the night. If that place had a descent swimming hole it would be better.
Hope everyone had a safe weekend. I think I'm going to start going to PIB on the weekends. The busy stuff is getting to me.
