Formula 302 for sale?

Been on CL a while. I started watching it in the $6500 range, when it got to $5000 he sent me pics of the motors. They looked pretty dirty. With 8-10k invested and some labor, he would probably have a decent boat. I just didn't want a project.

it needs a trans, when he explained the engines to me they sound like 330 HP, not almost 500 as he claims in the add, maybe your buddy should buy mine, turn the key and go, as he will be at the same price after making love to this one

I actually owned that boat about 15 years ago and have not seen it until again until this cl ad. It was my first 30+ twin engine boat and my first a several formulas. Feel free to pm me I will tell you what I knew about it. Doesn't look to have changed a bit right down to the bird sewn into the cockpit cover. Unless it has had some major attention I bet I needs much more than just a transmission. None the less it was a really fun boat and I still love the lines of the 302. JG

Someone did buy it, not my buddy. He's on the fence on what kind of boat he wants. One hand he wants a fly bridge so we got a place to chill out of the sun. And the other hand wants to run like me and another couple friends. He's got an older sea ray now, but it's not exactly setting any speed records. I told him just buy both. Lol

Me either. I'm already having withdrawals. The Mach 1 is still in the driveway incase I have a relapse. Lol.
It'll be tough launching by myself with no ramps in at sterling.
When I put the engine in, I put drains in on everything. Winterizing took 5 minutes.
