Default How long of a ride port severn ontario to toronto thru huron and erie?

Planning to do trent severn waterway. How long of a loop it would be to go thru georgian bay, huron down to detroit, then erie back to toronto?

Something tells me it is too long of a ride for me with limited vacations... Right?

You should be able to do in a week from Port Severn to Toronto then if you want to go back up the Trent to Port Severn you need about another 7 to 10 days . Depends how the water is and how fast you can or want to run. The Welland canal can be a issue as once you start you can not stop in the middle and it takes close to 10 to 12 hours normally.

I did the canal last nov 20 in 5.5 hrs -- we were the only boat in it -- was blowing 8 fters that day all the big boats were anchored. In talking with one of the canal operators he said that was as fast as anyone has done it and followed the speed limit...

would be a long 2 weeks if you want to enjoy it...
