Default Any place to beach & swim in Wisconsin

Trying to find a lake to boat on in Wisconsin where I can beach the boat and let the kids out to play in the sand/ wade in the water. I have boated on madison lakes but I am not aware of anything. Rock lake has anice area by sandy beach but the lake is somewhat small and gets boring quick. Koshkonog is out of the question. I will not let the kids in that water. Pewaukee our home lake doesn't really have much to offer... Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jr.

We go out on Winnebago often. North shore near Menasha in front of Waverly Beach, pure sand bottom. Great place to anchor and swim. You will have to deal with the Winnebago water however, not as pristine as other places.
