Re: Speed Vs. Horsepower

I was told mine was a light layup and I had an IMCO drive extension on it with these other motors. With a 7.4 ProCharger which was rated at 500hp it ran 87 27pitch prop 1.36 gears. With a 502 and a procharger rated at around 600hp it ran 100. When I had a 540 in it not sure on the hp but it ran 93 with the 27 prop. Now I am building a 525Sc for it and not running the drive extension.

Re: Speed Vs. Horsepower

I have a 99 SR and I'm running a 540 Imco Extreme SC with a 1.35, my best speed was 89.7 GPS. My motor is N/A and dyno was 683, so I'm probably low 600 off the dyno and at the prop.
I have a buddy with a 540 with a prochager fuel injected and he is running in the low 100s to high ninetys

Yes it is, I haven't advertised yet. Will probably start in mid January on the advertising.
I took the motor out this spring and went completely through it, I then put put a wopping 2 hours on the boat this summer.

I had a new interior put in. New power, redid the trailer and close to being done.
