HTM didn't produce hardly any outboard boats, and for good reason. HTM's are a different caliber of hull, they really need the big power production of a big inch blown BBC, unlike that of twin outboards. You might want to be careful of the 97's, well 2000 and prior boats. They weren't laid up in house and I " heard " of some transom issues.
I have a 2001 SS-24, boat was laid up in house by Steve, boat ran a best of 122.4 on GPS with a Supercharged BBC. The HTM hulls were built/designed to handle massive power.. that is the way I suggest a person to buy/own one
