Default Procharger on 24SS

I called about a 2003 SS24 for sale with a 502 and a procharger. The seller bought it about 1 1/2 years ago from a dealer and is not sure if it came from the factory with the Procharger or not. The boat and motor have 180 hours on it? Did they build many 502's with prochargers in 2003? Does that HP and speed seem legitimate? Thanks for your help.

That's probably doable my SR with 700 hp did 101-103 gps with a labbed bravo prop... 1.5 gears and and a imco drive... SS are faster due to the lower deck height...

780 should easily get 105 in an SS. My SS had between 1000 and 1100 HP and it went 125 GPS on the limiter. I think it could have went 130 with more prop.

HTM SS will run 105 with a Procharger, HTM did install quite a number of Prochargers at the factory, a 2003 model is after the accident but Steves wife was still running it at that time. Steve and I both were big with Procharger in the early days. This is a shot doing some R&D at my shop in Havasu with Steve.

Steve is driving Dean who worked for me was riding and Mike Kromer from Procharger is pushing off, in the other boat is Ken who also passed in the accident at Castaic, this test was the first HP500 EFI kit boat ran 112 with stock 500 EFI and Procharger 10psi
