I have a 1990 40 Hustler that I purchased without power in 2002. When I purchased the boat it had an original 110 hours according to the hour meters. When I got the boat back to Long Island the hull was completely stripped of all the old rigging. The boat was completely rerigged in the winter of 2002. The engines were built from all new parts (not rebuilt). This is a triple engine boat. The engines are 850 hp MRD blower engines. All of the parts are the best that money could buy (Dart cylinder heads fully ported by Indy cylinder head, crower forged crank, rods, complete roller valve train, blower shop 871 blowers with dull holley carbs). These motors run excellent on 93 octane gas and behave very well around the dock. They are mated to brand new HP transom assembly. With brand new XR drives, with IMCO lower cases. This boat will run over 110 miles per hour with these. Don't let the year of the boat fool you. The gelcoat and the interior are next to new. I have put 40 hours on thte boat since it was fully restored. It also sits on a fully restored and repainted 45 foot MYCO trailer with drive guard. This trailer was costum made to fit the step bottom of this boat . I assume that you are familier with the 40 Hustlers. THe cabin has 6'2" head room and a large bathroom with a shower and porceline head . During the restoration process there was no expense spared the dashboard has all new LIVORSI gauges and a new garmin GPS chart plotter. There are not many V bottoms that have the cabin and cockpit room that this boat has along with the 110 MPH speed capability. Also in 2002 the boat has brand new extensive canvas work which includes a mooring cover, full cover, bimini top with full enclosure. I rerigged this boat thinking I was going to keep it for a long time. However time does not allow me to use the boat as much as I would like to. Also this boat was built by Paul Fiore which in many peoples opinion make it a more sort after hull than the ones built after Paul sold Hustler.

i know that 91 i sold it to the guy i was looking for a boat a lil more up to date for my customer. 40 hustler can you email some pics some more info on the boat i think i may have talked to you about the boat a year ago im not sure. jim@mimsboats.com

i called on that today its pretty clean ive seen it on the water before. its been there for a year i made an offer on it today which i thought was reasonable being it was a repo ,been sitting and the guy was very arrogent and cocky.
