insurance for canadian resident

i have a problem... as a canadian our insurance policy cover our boat only in canada and we can't go lower than new york with our insurance. my parent have a house in florida and would like to bring my boat during winter time overthere but need to be fully cover. any advice or compagny that could help me???

get the boat insured in the U.S. With dad's and mom's adress in boynton beach! Then I could use it brother!

I think we can help you, as long as the boat is kept in the care custody and control of the insured while in Florida. Contact us when you can.

I live close the the Canadian border and I spend my summers cruising Lake Champlain (NY & VT). My boat is insured on both Canadian waters and the Northern USA.

My insurance company will insure me if I take my boat to Florida BUT NOT during the huricane season.

I was not able to find one company that would insure me during the huricane season so my boat is now ins storage

Depending on what Canadian company your with, you can add an endorsement to cover US exposure. It usually costs around $500 additional premium.
