Im looking into a 288 sunsation 496HO, and around $60,000, state farm and progressive want, 2 arms and a leg ($1100.00)
which to me is crazy, specially on $60,000, anyways if someone can point me in another direction that would be great, id like to get somewhat cheaper, i know state farm took a 25% increase as of Jan 1 2007, so heads up!

$1100 and you call it 2 arms and a leg? Ask the guys that have cats that only cost a few dollars more, go UNDER 100 mph, and still pay like 7-8 times that amount....

You need to sign up for one of those $1100 policies ASAP!
I have a 32 T6.2 MCOB boat and paid $1900 in 04, 2400 in 05 and 2700 in 06 through Progressive. No one else even wanted to quote the boat. 1100 is a steal, my 15 Boston Whaler is $300 so I don't know how much cheaper you are expecting.
A new F4 in FL will be 12-14K depending on power and has a 300K capped value on a boat that has a 500K+ MSRP. My buddy sold his 38 Powerplay when they wanted a renewal at 11K for a boat that was 5500.
