Insurance went down by $700.000

With talk of sky high insurance rates, was I a happy camper when I opened our latest bill, the policy went down over $700.00!!! Mind you we were only paying a little over $1,700.00 so this was quite a dramatic reduction. I still can not believe it. I called our agent this morning and he said that Freemont had a good year with not many boat claims. He also said that after 4 years with no claims, no tickets, credit score in the mid 700's, our age and long boat owner history we are good risks

To put this in perspective the boat is a 96 43' Black Thunder and does about 78, so we are not talking brand new triple digits MTI. It is insured for about $110,000.00 and poker runs are not excluded. Our insurance is now under $1,100.00 for the year Now if they could just do something about rising gas prices I would really jump for joy
