Price Check Please!
Hi I am looking at a 2001 Baja H2X. It has 150 hurs and has 320hp. It looks to be in good condition and it has a cockpit cover and trailer. His asking price is 41995...What should I be able to get this boat OTD for...or how much would you pay for it? Thanks

O and it is a dealer and i will be trading in another boat and a jet ski on it...
Boat is a 2005 Larson Senza 186 w/ 15 hours, full loaded Volvo V8...Paid in Full
Jetski is a 2004 Seadoo GTX Limited w/ 40 hours and i owe 3k on it...
So what should the boat be at and then what should the OTD total be subtracting my trades you figure?
I was hoping to be around 8k OTD...
What yall think?
Thanks

The price on that boat is way high. I would think you could find a big block power H2X for low 30's. Wouldn't pay over 30 for a small block one. Small boats and seadoo's are easy to sell, I would sell outright instead of trading.

Might be worth checking on if you're interested in a 6.2 powered H2X

I wouldn't buy one with less than a 454 mag or 496 mag depending on the year. A 6.2 boat might run 60? I'm guessing, don't have any experience with the H2X. How much boat experience do you have? Have you considered a 25 Outlaw instead? H2x is a low, shallow deadrise, sit down boat. Nothing wrong with that as long as its what you want. Have you checked all the internet classifieds? Plenty of big block boats out there, try looking here.

Thanks for the help jmeng!!!...I have a couple years experence. I am 18, i got my boaters license when i was 16...
I am looking for a 23-27ft Baja, that gets up and goes, doesnt have to be the fastest just a nice kept, low hour boat, i would prefer drop down bolsters...a big block would be nice...I looked at all of those sites and i found a couple. I emailed the sellers....

If you want bolsters look for a 25 Outlaw, 275, 272, or a 252. Take your time and wait for the right deal on the right boat. A lot of the boats advertised are overpriced and aren't selling because of it.

i found either a 1998 Baja Hammer or 1998 Baja 232 that is in my price range...
The Baja Hammer has a 454 Mag MPI, headers, trim tabs, doesnt have drop out bolsters though...80 hours...$27k
the 232 has a 454 MPI, no tabs, drop down bolsters...29k
Same trades. The hammer is 2' less but not really all that noticeable i wouldnt think, and it ahs trim tabs, but i like the bolsters on the 232...
But that 454 Mag in the Hammer is bad ass, slap a whipple or a procharger on that and I would have a 80+mph (maybe 90mph) boat for sure!
