80k with a 611 is gonna be tough. Like Iraq war tough.

I know my bank would not fund this loan, but with collateral it MIGHT be do-able for a high rate. Gonna be a big payment.

Can't find a boat for under 100k? lol

Is it that much harder (or more expensive) to finance a boat with more HP (say over your standard Merc 525)? Why is that? I seem to be having problems finding finance for anything over 525 and it's not because of my financial situation.

The biggest issue is the 3 lenders who were doing high hp performance boats (Regions, NCB and Flagstar) have all pulled out of marine lending. I have a new bank that I just got on board that says they will do big hp and they will consider loan amounts from $250,000 to $1,500,000. Minimum credit score of 700. I have not placed my first application with them yet but if you want to be first, give me a call and we will see how they do.
