insurance for top gun

looking for insuance for a 1993 38 ft top gun twin 525. i'm 54 years old no tickets no dwi excellent credit. agreed value is 75,000 on the boat 5,000 on the trailer.home port is houston tx.already got one with elton porter seemed a little high 2,634.00 per yr

I would love to help you but Markel is basically the only carrier writing boats older than 15 years in coastal states. Sorry I couldn't help you further. If the boat was with 15 years old I wouldn't have a problem. I just wrote a policy in Houston today on a $200,000 agreed value with American Reliable and his rate was $3600 and included windstorm coverage. So rates can be decent in TX still.
