Can someone give me a quick quote/ballpark number on what I would be paying for insurance on a 1991 Scarab 38 excel with twin 588's with superchargers on them. The boat will be stored at my house. I have a perfect driving record, >750 credit score, 27 years old, $40,000 purchase price. Below is a link to the boat I am wanting to buy. Let me know if you would need any other info.

Check my previous thread and you see what I mean. Why are insurance brokers like used car salesmen. This guy laid all the facts on the table, simply give him a ballpark figure, post it and see if you are competitive! This shouldn't really be that hard to do and if your rates are good you will get a lot of business from this board.

Wow. That is a pretty bold comment seeing as though in order for us to give a quote, we need specifics on the PERSON and THE VESSEL. Telling me that you have a certain boat and experience does not give enough information for us to provide a quote, even a ballpark. If you want a qualified ballpark, then we need to know an adequate amount of information. I need to know what the top capable speed/engine info is so that I can give a ballpark for the appropriate program. A ballpark for a 68mph boat vs a 88mph boat is very different... so your comparison to a car salesman is a little harsh.
