Florida Insurance companies??? Help please?

My wife and I are relocating to florida beginning in November. I will also be relocating my businesses. My businesses target area is Collier, Lee,Charlotte, Desoto, and Sarasota counties to begin. What county are insurance rates best in for General Liability, Workmans Comp, Auto, Homeowners or rental ( we plan to rent to begin) and boat? At this point im trying to decide what my address should be and not sure how much difference insurance rates will make. Thanks for your help.

Hi Pat~

As far as your boat, the address where you live or have your mail sent to doesn't matter, it is the zip code where the boat is stored that matters.

Your auto insurance rates are also based on your garaging zip code. Try Safeco Insurance Company - you can call me and I'll get you the information you need.

As for the business... I would recommend dealing with an independent commercial agent in FL, if you need help locating one just let me know.
