Has been great having Stacey as my agent for the past 2 years. Looking forward to many more years.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE is an understatement.

Sounds like upfront customer service is good but anyone have Any horror stories on claims... Saw one on here recently where a boat sank and guy tried to save it and his insurance stuck him with a $3000 towing fee because he tried to move it instead of letting it sink.... I think that was the jist... I just completed a boaters safety course and curious to see how that affects my rate this year

WAKE ZONE is a brokerage, not an insurance carrier... fyi.... we don't determine the final outcome of claims at Wake Zone. That occurs at the insurance carrier and we don't have the authority to settle claims either. We go to bat and fight for our clients in the event of a claim but we do not have any final say...

Anyways, just wanted to clarify for all the other readers that the "claim" you reference above is not from any Wake Zone client, to my knowledge and I know our clients and their claim situations VERY well.

Our Company's Mission Statement: "To be the premier provider of insurance to the boating communities of the US by providing the most competitive products, education and highest level of customer service possible."

1. IMPECCABLE SERVICE – Same day call backs, fast responses to questions, online service center and policy management. At Wake Zone, we know you by name, not policy number and feel that says a lot about our agency and the level of service we provide you.

2. OUR CARRIERS – As a marine agent we represent a wide variety of carriers for you to choose from. One call to us will save you from having to call around. Our rate with “XYZ Company” will be the same as it would be through another agency, so save yourself the time and just make one phone call for quotes to all eligible carriers. We represent/write policies for 17 different Marine Insurance Carriers. Now that gives you options!

3. SOURCE OF INFORMATION: You don’t need to be our client to call us to ask for advice. Part of our company mission statement is boater insurance education. If you have questions about insurance or are looking to buy a new boat and need some insurance advice… give us a call! We’ll be happy to answer your questions.

4. HONEST AND OBJECTIVE ADVICE: As an independent broker, we represent YOU, our client. We do not work for insurance companies. So when advice is given or a quote is offered, know that it is being presented with YOUR best interests in mind.

5. CLAIMS SERVICE THAT GOES BEYOND: Your first call in the event of a claim is to us, your agent and representative, not an 800 claims number. We take claims calls 24/7. If you happen to have an incident occur during non-business hours, simply leave a voicemail and it will be delivered to your agent and he/she will return your call right away. We are by your side throughout the claims process and go to bat for YOU, our client, when necessary.

AND A BONUS POINT... We can insure any boat regardless of speed, age or operator. Now that is what truly sets us apart from our competition!

We hope to hear from many of you this season and look forward to servicing your insurance needs. We know that once you’ve chosen to do business with Wake Zone, you’ll be happy you did.

Have a safe and enjoyable boating season!

GLH recently had a claim with her for the sinking of the Drambui Boat I believe - he even mentioned in the thread that Stacey was handling the claim and that he was pleased with the service.

Dave, my records for your quote show something a bit different than what you indicated above, but that is besides the point. I've sent you a message with my last (and second) email to you. From the sounds of your post, my last email didn't get to you. In any event, I'm very sorry that you didn't receive it and felt as though your request was ignored, it most certainly wasn't. I approached 5 different carriers for you and your boat isn't the easiest one to insure... anyways, check your PM and you'll know why. Again... my apologies.

I saved 15% because I took the boaters safety course.

Stacy has been fantastic in working with me to add my Sea-Doo and getting a rider for me when I went to Florida this winter. Never an issue with communication, great prices and she is cute to boot! Keep up the good work!
