Default Insurance options for 1986 272 Formula?

So I have my 1986 Formula titled and registered now, almost ready for a water test. Now I need insurance.

I sent a message to Wake Zone and Stacey sent me to Ben Belyea at Global Marine. Just sending in my information to Ben now for a detailed quote.

Wondering if there is anyone else out there I should contact for another quote? My auto/Homeowners company does not insure boats other than the typical ski boat, so they are out. Not expecting much attention on this, you are talking about a small policy with the value of the boat and the fact that I will be laying it up for 6 months a year up here in the north. But thought I would ask.

Thanks to anyone who has any ideas or input.

Brian

I just went with State Farm and got liability only cheap. The age of your boat makes it hard to get full insurance. 1983 26ft Corsa $130 a year.

Did I give you the info for National Marine Underwriters? They have a program that is designed for older performance boats 20 years or older.

If not, it's:
