Have you tried Foremost? Depending on power / speed they may be a good option. I'm also in Ohio, and have had an old cig, and 2 Formulas insured without any problems in my mid 20's.

Stacy at wake zone insures the 1993 top gun. I did need a survey, and there was no problem. I was 31 the first year I had the boat. It also is a blower motor boat with 3a drives

Again - call Stacey, she has been insuring me and my cafe since I was just a touch older than you. She's been great

Thanks Guys. Will give Stacey a call tomorrow.

I have looked with Geico, they would cover a 38 special but not the top gun. All my other assets are insured through state farm, only issue is their HP value will only allow for 999 hp. So stock powered boat would be ok but they wouldned touch one i quoted with blowers making 750 a side. An early 90's TG with 454's they were quoting me around 1,100 a year full coverage.

Storing at my personal residence in a garage helped tremendously vs leaving it on a lift in the marina.

Foremost is who I use. Great rates too. I just go off stock power figure if I have a problem engines are prolly the least of my concern at the point.

They might not have covered either once it got to the underwriter. That is what happened to me, and I ended up with a cancel notice a few weeks later once the underwriters got a peak at it. They sent me the cancel notice effective July 3. I was so pissed so I moved all my insurance elsewhere - **** State Farm.

Unless it's a 18' fishing boat that runs 90mph, then your fine...

I've had Progressive for several years now. Betting if you submit an online quote from them you'll qualify.
