Default Insuring a 38 TS Top Gun with 525's

Guys
I got the run around from State Farm on insuring my38 TS Top Gun. It has 525's. The story was too much combined horse power, could be used as a race boat, bla bla bla........ Do any of you guys have your Top Gun with State Farm ??? If not who are you using ??? I have been with them since I was 16. But, this really bites !!!!

Thanks

Wake zone or total dollar will insure it without any problems. I think 500hp is the cut off for most carriers

I understand your frustration with State Farm. I've been with them forever too but when I said Cigarette boat they said 'Cigarette Racing Team?'
I don't think they would have insured it if it had a trolling motor on it.

Foremost is the solution.

State Farm insures our Fastech 353 with 525s, no problem. I have had the same agent for 30 years, and only a few claims on autos and homes. I did have an issue one year they wouldn't write our SeaDoos but the next year they did and 4 years since, don't know why.
