Only if it loses the cable from the equation, and is oil-oil.

This is also known as "fully hydraulic".

to be honest- no.

because you will still have a cable in between you and the water vs oil.

I seen imco kits it sounds like they tap into the stock powersteering and keep the cables.

The - Imco stuff is great, but does this kit include a juice helm, or is this just the stuff for the rear....

I think its just the rear stuff i thought it tapped into the stock stuff.

Looks more complete. Mayfairs pretty good stuff.

If it were me Id go with the whole Imco setup only because Im partial to them.

Who is doing the work?

Definitely. This all seems like pretty basic stuff
I just can't let anyone else work on my stuff it makes me feel uncomfortable.

I get it. Most of it is very basic, but it can be tricky. A lot of these parts are heavy and require 2 people to install. Plus you need to seal the transom effectively everytime you drill a hole in it otherwise water intrusion will rot out your boat.

ID get on the horn with the velocity guys and get some tips, Ill bet theyd appreciate being in the loop and may offer some install pointers.
