Worth it, or lets say at least the first 21 minutes which I watched, will continue with the next portion later. The video is nice to watch especially for somebody who has bought the MICHELOB. Very much about the italian boats in the first 20 minutes.

For those that are interested - it was shot on Super 8 sound film, then transfered to 3/4 Umatic - then to VHS - this process just degrades badly - but I started NNRT with a small budget and an Idea - as most people know - I put all the profits back into equipment such as a Helicopter Camera mount, Broadcast quality Beta SP - with effects and Chyron. In the late 70s this is what was available -

The Seas were so big in Mar Del Plata, that boats would vanish and re-appear like climbing walls of water - My Helicopter pilot would not venture beyond sight of land - and the boats were seldom over 45 mph - Ask Billy Martin how rough it was or Jerry Jacoby - or Bill Elswick who lost his transome and sunk quickly - (only he was lucky that a freighter was coming and he was saved - Forget the Coast Guard there - you were on your own.

Ask Charlie McCarthy - about the kids (police) with Sub machine guns -

The next 20 minutes are racing in very rough high seas, interesting.

At minutes 40:36 the video shifts in the 9th Bushmills Race with top banana as entree, KAAMA (Lucididee!! KAAMA!! but you have seen the video probably already)...

Yes this video is actually two races - the '78 Worlds from Mar del Plata and the '79 Bushmills Grand Prix from Newport Beach, CA.
