Default B19 RUNAWAY video

I just posted some video from 1998 of my 28 foot Magnum race boat B-19 RUNAWAY.
This was a fun run we did in summer of 1998 in Barnegat Bay NJ. I am in the center
driving, my long time friend and racing partner Chuck Burke is on the throttles, and our
navigator, Steve Pollok can be seen in his Cig TG, as he runs with us. The speed can be
appreciated about 2:22 in on part-1. The video is from the route 37 bridge, south to
Manahawkin, and back north to Forked River, where I lived at the time.

Of all of the boats I have owned through the years, this one is the only one that I really
really miss. I would love to buy her back and restore her, but she has been to badly
stripped, and is now overseas.

Video part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-EbIsyoV00
Video part 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=09ky3kCkb08

Other photos and video are at my web site www.dkorinc.homestead.com under general
picture gallery & video clip gallery.

This video was shot in 1998, the 2nd to last year that we campaigned the boat. In 1999,
we saw 102mph, but in 1998 the top speed was 97-98mph, which was the speed we were
doing around 2:00-3:00 in on video part-1.

Wow!! BIG THANKS!!!

Do you know were these engine went? Did the boat went over seas w/o engines, assys, steering and driver?

The new owner are thinking about a couple of big blocks but I am not sure if it's space there for that?

I tried to find pictures of the B19 in the gallaries of yours but I could not find any.

Thanks for all help.

I sold the boat with the engines, the buyer sold them off before sending the boat overseas. They were BIG dollar engines, but are gone now.

The transom asemblies, drives and steering, went to a 32 Hustler restoration in Pennsylvania, they are gone.

The engine centerlines are 34 inches, so big blocks with CMI headers will fit side by side; however, front to back needs to be measured, and the air boxes will most likely been in the wrong spot. The 4 corner, engine mount plates, will be problamatic with big blocks, they are shown below, circled in yellow. Remember big block torque can be tough on Bravo drives, which is what the transom, is presently set up for.

My old website is gone, the new one is

the photo galleries are here:

however the 28 Magnum race boat pictures have not yet been loaded.
