Nice photo of the 16 Foot Missle. I had one that I raced in 1969 at Miami Marine Stadium. We had a photographer there each weekend who shot a number of pics of my Missle, but I've lost track of him and have been looking for a photo of a missle for the past tens years. My missle was named "Miss Magnum Missle" Had twin 135 Merc bp's, short shafts with quicke lower units. Those were the good times. . .

I was there at Miami Marine Stadium in 1969 when you were running your Missle. I raced a curtis craft back then.

I just bought a 1969 Magnum Marauder 16' I'm going to restore it. Has anyone done that?

Cool 16' Missle

I understand that the Hull # is up under the dash ??? Thats what I heard from Magnum Marine today. By the way I just bought a 16' Magnum Missle and I don't know what is is worth. It would be a Total Restoration. It has a 1250 Merc. on it. Anybody interested give me a call. I'm in Bullhead City, Az.

Default # of 16 footers

65-70 Magnum Missile's the tunnel hull, flat nose were built.40 Maurders were built, the pointed hull. These #'s come from the foreman at the plant where they were built.
Apeco stopped building them soon after they took over because they were not profitable The Missile sold for $1700-$2,200 without engine.Top price was around $5,000 with engine and trailer. Bud

ditto to Fl.
I Was going to buy this for $400.00 but freight from Pa.to Tampa was over $1,000.00. A Late 50's early 60's wood hydro like the first go fast boat I got to drive on Senaca Lake in NY. The genesis of my boating passion. What a thrill at 10...
