Roger told me he found a video on the actual building of the 31 ft Sprit,which is a stretched Magnum with the kinks taken out. I have a video on when they did the test drive also...I will see if I can have them put together in a single video for posting on the web.Give me a couple of weeks.
He also told me he has enjoyed the Magnum people who have stoped by his shop to say hello. Bud

I was really nervous walking into Roger's shop last fall. I thought he might be grumpy and not want to talk about old boats......couldn't be further from the truth........Roger was awesome!!..... and you could tell he really loved talking Magnums.......a real class act.

A side note: I called the Magnum factory about 5 or 6 years ago asking about 27 Sports.........they gave me Roger's number.

Met Roger on our first race ever in
st. Cloud in 2001 When he seen our old Magnum and waulked over to taulk.First thing i found out was he knew a heck of a lot more about my boat than I did.When my machine shop screwed up my first 540 for the second time I sat down with Roger and explaind what was happening,a half hour later we were pertty sure what the problems were and i brought it over and let him go to work. He sure got it right and im still running it today.Roger turned into a very good friend over the years and always enjoy sitting an listening to his stories.
