thanks highlife
but I am looking more for general information, if the boats suffered from some problems etc etc
and as for the pictures, I am more looking for some original stuff, like 53 Maltese berthed in some close by marinas
I saw on the video thread some people worked coperated with Magnum at the times the first 53 was built so may be they can share there knowledge about the 53 Maltese

i was on the 1st 53 built... i think it had 8v92's for power.
i was real young.
you may want to talk to brownie about the boat... he'd know more than anyone around here.

Reason: boat had 8v92s not 6-71s.

LOL, thats pretty funny.
I know Guy. I'm tight w/ his daughter and her hubby.
That whole brokerage from there asks a lot for their boats.

I think that Mag 53 Maltese would not move much with little 2 x 640 hp GMs, if you do 28 knots you can say you are lucky and at 370k US$ is not cheap eighter

i think it broke into the 30s.
It was just a deck and hull... nothing else.
not even engine hatches.

yeah take 5 knots out of those
the 53 needs 2 x 1000s plus to move and surface drives to be at its best,
BTW does anyone know nothing about this one in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BuD-...eature=related
looks like a nice 53 with a strange radar arch, modern dash
