Chine walk
.looking at either a 27 ft mag sport or 28 cigarette to work on this winter Have lines on both not to far from me Like the looks of the sport better but was told they are prone to chine walk at 70 plus Both would be dual small block motors with trs although a single big block with bravo is tempting Anyone care to comment? thanks Brian

Chine walk
Brian never had mine over 80,and no chine walk.Remember these hulls were not designed to run much faster then that.
Also have a real strong 28 Maltese for sale $12,000 closing my business. The previous owners had more than $25,000 in it ,needs minor mechanical and cosmetics.trailer has 3 new axles, brakes. and tires...it is ready to roll, call or e-mail if interested. Bud 312-607-3115

Brian, before you make up your mind on a boat remember,a Mag is a 27ft hot rod.I don't think it was ever built for a family boat.I see so many guys buy a Mag and 2 months later have it back on the market after momma finds out theres no porta potty or anyplace to change clothes or even get out of the weather in a storm.I love my Mag and wouldn't trade it for anything, but i knew what they were before i bought it.If i wanted all this other stuff i would have bought a 27 baja but not near as much fun.

Here's an article on Chine Walking. Not specific to any hull maker, but may be interesting nonetheless.
