Who owns this Magnum 27 Vee windshield boat?

I've attached an image I found on the internet of a 27" vee windshield boat, with a lowered windshield . . I'd like to get an image of the side view of this boat . .
I own a vee windshield 27', and don't like the look of the original tall windshield, and desire to change it, this might be enough of a change, short of removing the entire Vee fiberglass box and returning it to a Sport. The latter will be breezy and chilly in northern New England in spring and fall . . as I willbe using the boat from mid April to November . . Thoughts and input wanted! He's in Texas....I have some pics he sent me, I can forward them to you. What's you e-mail again?
I agree...it's a good look. Aaron |
--------Mario,,,How are you??? Did you notice the DONZI style scoops on either side of the windshield??? Does your new ride have them there???..........Bill S

-------Mark,,,Cool pics but not the same vents. The vents on the boat pictured by Mario are made in Algonac. Notice that the opening is slanted the other direction and the slight difference in height. Get back to work on the Cary!!!:ernaehrung004:..........Bill S
-------Mark,,,Just realized that I should have said vents in my first post. The scoops do look the same. |
Bill,
My boat has the same scoops as Lil Smidgen, which are still available today. Mine are original and the chrome is poor, and it's cheaper to replace than rechrome . . The boat in the image has had numerous changes, Aaron has kindly supplied me a few side shoots, and the lower profile windshield certainly is better, but I'm still looking to clean it up a bit more . . . . Guy's give me your thoughts on the this boat: http://www.bananaboatco.com/classic-24.htm Side bar on those scoops and the running lights . . . Note that Magnum placed the running lights right behind these scoops, making them invisible from a large angle off the forward quarter! I'm moving mine to the bow, but below the rubrail. I boat a lot at night, and two years ago I came as close to a head on with another boat that was cruising at low speed, bow high, and I was in my little Donzi, fortunately able to change course instantly when a large dark image was dead ahead! My Magnum is black . . .I need all the help I can get to be seen . . being heard will not be a problem! Mario L. |
