1969 Donzi Corsican 1968 Magnum 27

Magnum 27 and Donzi 18 Ownership
It's become apparent to me that there are numerous owners that own or have owned both of these boats . . . and or own both right now . .
Just curious how many folks still own their Donzi 18 and their Magnum 27 or have had one and other . . ?

2000 Phantom 34'
|
My father had one (manufatcured 1969- bought it new)16' Donzi, two 18' Donzi (1972-new and,one 1973 owned from 1986-1991), 20' Cigarette (new 1974), 24' Pantera (new 1979), and the 27' Magnum Sport (boat was made on 1974 -owned it from 1987 until 2004, (also the Phantom). My brother and I had the second 18' Donzi, plus the 13' and 15' Boston Whalers. My father liked Don.
I had some great days in the Donzi, that was hot-rod too.

After warming up with some fun boats as a youth, I went from a 16 Donzi ob to 18 2+3 to a 24 Pantera to my family boat, the sedan.
All great at the time. my only disappointment was the 18. It was built in 88 when that bastard Dick Genth was screwing up the company. The boat fell apart and they bought it back after 3 years of grief.

My 18 is in fine shape, so it must have been built prior to the appearance of Senor Ghenth!
