Now I know it's getting a little deep here. That shock looks like the ones on the front end of my 1959 corvette.
Here is a Monroe #part# 5751

Hi Jeff,
As i stated in my PM I had new ones custom made here in the UK. Would you like me to get another pair made for you ?
Also re your stern light you may want to try Marine Surplus in Sarasota, I sae something like you are looking for there in November.

Default Bostrom Shock

Thanks Dan, great info.

Did this shock fit in the spring? That is the problem we are having, the new monroe or gabriel shock does not fit thru the spring as the barrel of the shock is too big. Both are the right length, etc. but too fat in circumference.

Thanks again and in advance,

Jeff

Does any know what the spring rate is for one of these? Contemplating new springs, and a Bilstein gas charged shock for an even better ride.....
Thoughts appreciated!
