That confirms the rumor we had heard with a few more pieces of info on that Mag. It's funny that Magnum had to find a sport to make a mold from.

Paul,

if you are at a 30" C/L now and are going to change your transom anyways . . go with the 16.5 X Dim and spread them atleast 2 inches . . which will raise everything, so check hatch clearances . . .

Here is a photo of the new 27 hull next to Hull 444 which was used as the plug. This thing was water logged and super heavy. The axels on the trailer were bowed bad.

That's a Magnum? He had his Volvos up into the rub rail?
What props did he use with the Volvos?

With all the consideration that goes into bring back the iconic & legendary hull such as the 27.....was there "ever" a thought of ( I know this is blasphemous) making it a stepped hull?

Andy the new hull was pulled from the..
1,original Magnum mold
2.Or was it pulled from other 27

What can you tell us.
